Abstract :
In this paper, connection of a 4 phase real source, which can be a 4 phase synchronous generator, with its own voltage, frequency and internal impedance to a 3 phase source having its voltage, frequency and internal impedance that can be a grid through a matrix converter with natural commutation will be investigated. Study of the coupling of two active systems with different voltage and frequency by direct converter is the main idea, which can be used for example for direct connection of turbine and generator in gas power plant for gearbox eliminating in future. Simulation of this system, its output and its work domain are studied.
