Abstract :
In order to solve the problem of detecting the location of targets in the guided weapon systems, the proximity fuze device becomes more and more important. A miniaturized symmetric conformal slot antenna with a Gaussian doublet pulse radiation is proposed in this paper. It can be used in the fields such as proximity fuze, ultra wideband (UWB) communications, etc. To meet the need of miniaturization and the integration with bomb, the structure is designed by integrating the radiating antenna and received antenna on a cylinder. The outer radius of the cylinder is 21.75 mm, the inner radius is 18.75 mm and the height of the cylinder is 16.3 mm. In the simulation, the radiating antenna radiates a Gaussian doublet pulse with duration of 300 ps and peak-peak amplitude of 18 V for the radiating antenna to detect. A metal plate of 1 m2 at a distance of 1.5 m is used as the target to test the performance of the fuze antenna.
