Abstract :
In this paper, the elasticity characteristics of kraft paper are measured for analyzing the winding axial stability of power transformer. The elasticity characteristics of kraft paper used in transformer are investigated under different experiment conditions of oil-immersed time and oil temperature. The axial dynamic force and displacement of windings are modeled and analyzed in ANSYS. The axial kinetic linear and non-linear characteristics of a 220kV power transformer under short circuit faults are analyzed for verification of axial stability. Results can provide a reference for improving the winding axial stability of power transformer.
