  • Abstract
This report describes modelling results of power supplies with a change of external characteristics. A scheme of the lowering pulse-width modulator (PWM) was selected as a power supply. The external characteristic of this power supply has diverse bias regions with variable slope. Change of external characteristics is carried out with the help of a regulator. If regulator parameters are not optimal, then a transient process can exist, even high frequency PWM. Such a process is characterized by increased losses of electrical energy and by deterioration of technological processes quality indicators. The optimum regulator makes it possible to reach a minimum time of establishment and, consequently, minimum losses and good quality of technological processes. In this article a computation algorithm and calculation results for regulators are presented. Recommendations for the regulators parameters choice are given and inferences about the expediency of the regulators applications are presented
