Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the combustion process in diesel engines. A revised GMDH algorithm based on K-L transformation is presented in this paper, and this algorithm is applied to nonlinear modelling for the mean rate of main combustion period (MR). Compared with the basic GMDH algorithm, the result obtained by the revised GMDH algorithm has lower order, better precision, and calculating stability, and computation load is decreased greatly
