Abstract :
High voltage direct current (HVDC) systems are used in energy transmission, especially for large distance transmission and transmission between two asynchronous networks. Recently, with the development of electronics and computer science, more and more control systems are being numerallized since a digital control system may provide, in addition to its flexibility, a solution to the problem of operation security. In this paper, the authors present a description of digital firing circuit of an HVDC rectifier. The aim of the description is to facilitate its realization and, if wanted, to ensure its operation security
