Abstract :
The growing demand of multimedia services and the growth of internet related contents lead to increasing interest to high speed communication. The requirement for wide bandwidth and flexibility imposes the use of efficient transmission methods that would fit to the characteristics of wideband channels especially in wireless environment where the channel is very challenging. The choice of MIMO OFDM exploits the wideband with requirement by these wireless system. This work present the implementation of this MIMO OFDM system using the field programmable gate array. The single FFT block that is shared across modulation for the system. Since reconfiguration and pipelining become the major techniques for adaptive and high throughput systems. The work is implemented using FPGA. Along with this the power consumed by the processor is reduced by applying dynamic voltage scaling technique. The FFT block is implemented using verilog and simulation result are presented.
