Abstract
This paper studies a PV-wind hybrid power system. A short term for a nonlinear deterministic optimization control system for maximizing the global electric energy generated from the hybrid system subject to a set of suggested equality and inequality constraints is studied at any instant corresponding to the insolation level and the wind system. A developed hierarchical approach is proposed to solve this optimization control problem. The main result of this study shows that this proposed multilevel technique is more efficient than any other conventional techniques
