Abstract :
The theory of three-phase to three-phase matrix converter is dealt with and its switching pattern of all switches of converter are generated. Matrix converter operation is based on the switching pattern of all nine switches. Three phase output of the matrix converter is given as the input of three phase induction motor. Simulation results demonstrate its excellent output characteristics. The performance is analyzed using three phase currents, motor d axis and q axis current, motor torque and speed characteristics. In this paper; simulation, design and implementation of three-phase to three-phase matrix converter using Venturini algorithm and Zuckerberger algorithm have been presented and then output of matrix converter is applied to three phase induction motor. In this paper, matrix converter fed motor system is studied, which integrates MC and IM into a single unit, reduces the cost and increases the overall efficiency.
