Abstract :
This paper presents the analysis of input impedance of a rectangular cavity-backed slot antenna fed by a linear electric probe. This structure is proposed to be the element of the antenna array for the satellite communications. The method of analysis is straightforward and general. The demonstrations of the input impedance are carried out for various antenna parameters. The experimental results can be verified by theoretical calculations.
