Abstract :
A new PWM method for a unity power factor AC/DC power converter is presented in this paper. The main circuit consists of an uncontrolled single phase rectifier bridge followed by a buck chopper. A 8098 single-chip microprocessor is employed in this control strategy. The hardware and software of the control system is introduced. The paper also gives experimental results
