Abstract :
Problems as low speed or inaccurate results in the process of line detection with Hough Transform and Improved Hough Transform remain unsatisfactorily solved. This paper puts forward a new algorithm which is based on Improved Hough Transform to speed up the image processing and keep the highest precision. This algorithm transforms the slopes between the suspected points and the known point to angles, then detections single line or multi-lines. The results of experimentation show that, compared with standard Hough transform, this algorithm easier, faster, and real-time. The precise of this algorithm can meet the need of the examination.
