Abstract :
Configuration is an effective way to improve reliability and survival ability of power system. A Single Memory Agent Search (SMAS) algorithm was developed to solve reconfiguration problem of Electric Propulsion Ship (EPS) integrated power system when faults occurred. The algorithm imitated the process of information coding, information storing and information retrieving in human brains to configure weight values of memory storage areas and search memory storage area with high weight to obtain best solution iteratively. Thus, SMAS algorithm guarantees important loads to recover firstly with least switch actions, and satisfy high weight branches capacity constraints. Simulation results demonstrate that SMAS algorithm can solve reconfiguration problem of EPS integrated power system with higher security and lower cost by comparing with simulation results presented in other papers on 4 generators and 20 loads module.
