Abstract
Despite the application and promotion of RFID in the initial stage, it has been widely affirmed by retailers, manufacturers, pharmaceutical industry and government. But the efficiency using of RFID remains a major challenge. Organizations adopting it must bring together and manage huge volumes of RFID data and they will need to differentiate between meaningful data and vast amounts of ldquonoiserdquo in very large databases. As enterprises develop their RFID strategy in supply chain management, they should use BI technologies integrate RFID system with other applications, and analysis large volumes data to leverage potential strategic value of RFID. A conceptual architecture of RFID system and SCM integration based-BI was proposed in this paper, and it can help companies leverage RFID data to competitive advantages.
