Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze the performance of peer-to-peer video telephony (VT) services over 1x EV-DO Revision A (DOrA) cellular networks. Through simulation studies in OPNET, we illustrate the throughput and delay of both video and voice data during multiple video telephony sessions under varying traffic density (number of users, video bit rate and frame rate). We also study the effect of application level quality of service (QoS) parameters and channel errors on the measurable end-to-end performance metrics.
