Abstract :
Architecture-driven algorithms and efficient cache utilization, which expand programmable chip applications to mobile multimedia terminals, have been described in terms of real time audio and video encoding/decoding. For an example of such approaches, our DSP based terminal for mobile communications has been shown. The introduction of programmable chips into mobile multimedia terminals results in a low-cost and low-power mobile multimedia terminal device with enriched functionality
