Abstract :
The requirement to reduce costs, which is essential for both public and private organizations, is permanent. In order to remain competitive, organizations must simultaneously maintain or improve their levels of productivity. These constraints are further amplified in economic recovery phase, where they need to address real challenges to maintain or increase the level of income. Managers are always on the lookout for practical ways of reducing their spending. For organizations, technological innovations are a source of cost reduction while increasing efficiency. Investments in IT today rarely introduce new capabilities. That may be why many organizations are trying to improve IT efficiency by virtualization technologies such as Cloud Computing. Indeed, because of the cloud computing benefits such as scalability, flexibility and reduced spending, many organizations are attracted to this solution and start to consider migration of applications, treatments and data to the cloud. However, with the large number of Cloud service offerings, an important challenge for customers is to discover who are the cloud provider that can satisfy their requirements. In this paper, we focus on migration to the cloud computing, we present some techniques that can minimize costs for cloud users and we define the role of cloud broker.
