Abstract :
The stability of characteristics of the gas filled surge arresters (GFSA) is most important, when working under high risk conditions where the influence of radiation is included. That field is very important because of its specific applications (military industry and space technology). In this field there is almost no information in the known literature. Because of this the aim of this work is the examination of the reliability of characteristics of the GFSA under n, γ radiation. Statistical treatment of obtained results determined the influence of previous neutron radiation on the stability of GFSA characteristic
