Abstract :
Adjustable speed drives are an attractive alternative to mechanical regulation systems for technical and economical reasons. Especially for critical applications, the drive must provide high reliability and tolerability to the perturbations emanating from the power system to guarantee adequate service continuity. This paper presents the approach used for the experimental qualification of such a drive intended for the feedwater pumps of a power plant
