  • Abstract
Web user profiling, as the technology to improve the Web site service and design by learning the characters of the user, is increasingly used today. And the contradiction in this technology between the collection of personal data and user privacy has attracted attention recently. To alleviate this contradiction, This work provides a new profiling approach, namely non-violative user profiling. First, it introduces the relative works in user profiling field. A non-violative strategy is then presented. And a Markov user model is designed for profiling based on non-violative strategy. Finally, we implemented the solution based on non-violative user profiling approach to help the design of Web site.
