Abstract
In view of nonlinearity and unstable zero-dynamics existing in Boost type DC/DC converter when using capacitor voltage as output, there is a great limitation on its performance, such as low-bandwidth and sluggish dynamic response. This paper, based on input-output feedback linearization, proposes a novel scheme of nonlinear control strategy. This strategy can not only solve the nonlinearity and unstable zero-dynamics problems in direct method when taking capacitor voltage as output, but also overcome the lack duo to power source fluctuation and load variation in indirect technique when taking inductor current as output. Its effectiveness is experimentally validated by means of a self-manufactured prototype. Experimental results show that, compared with traditional PI cascade control strategy, excellent results such as extensive range of output voltage regulation, good performance in dynamic and steady-state can be available in Boost type DC/DC converter.
