Abstract
Narrowband measurements at 1700 MHz have been performed in two different urban environments with antennas below roof level. From these data fading characteristics have been extracted and analysed. For the long fading, period below 5 λ, variance and correlation (autocorrelation) have been calculated and analysed concerning differences between line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight with the transmitter, different streets and distance between receiver and transmitter. For short fading the K-value at different distances and the variance have been calculated
