Abstract :
This paper presents a new technique to linearize the output current of a CMOS transconductor. This method is specially useful on implementations of the circuit where the designer does not have access to transistors geometry, such as gate arrays and sea of gates structures. It can be used in full-custom designs as well. The proposed technique is suitable to be used on standard CMOS processes, “n” or “p” wells, where body-effect is the main source of non-linearity. A complete analytical AC analysis is also performed. Spice simulations are used to verify the predicted results
