Abstract :
A linearly complex MIMO signal detection method that accommodates a high degree of channel estimation errors at the receiver is presented. Furthermore, the proposed detector is incorporated into a turbo-coded MIMO system for uplink transmission scenarios in slow frequency non-selective correlated Rayleigh fading environments. Simulation results illustrate that this system, which employs a particular form of iterative processing, operates near the ergodic channel capacity limit even under a high degree of channel estimation errors and strong spatial correlation at both ends of the wireless link.
