Abstract
Enterprise application integration (EAI) is a very complicated process of integrating multiple applications, which were independently developed, use incompatible technology, and remain independently managed. Recent years, workflow technology becomes an important method of EAI, but people´s researches ignore coordination management among integrated enterprise applications, such as version consistency problem of integrated enterprise applications. In order to reduce exception in cooperative work due to version inconsistency of integrated enterprise applications, we propose an architecture of version management of EAI, give an enterprise applications version model based on semantics of workflow, and provide a valid version consistency checking mechanism and concrete arithmetic of EAI based on the semantics of workflow.
