Abstract :
Different methods of electrostimulation of the brain have been well known for many years, but they have not yet found wide acceptance. Method of transcranial electrotherapy stimulation (TES) have been studied for more than 30 years. Traditionally, TES devices combine direct and alternating currents to be applied to electrodes placed on the subject´s head. It is found that alternating current is effective in treatment without the side effects seen in early TES devices. In this paper, we present some premilinary results in design a new transcranial impulse electrostimulation device. The device provides bipolar zero net charge impulse current having changeable impulse frequency and width.
