Abstract :
Fuzzy fault tree analysis is a combination of fault tree analysis and fuzzy set theory. In accordance with fuzzy theory, if the failure probabilities of the components or equipment are not exact values, the failure probabilities are regarded as fuzzy numbers. The fuzzy failure rate of the system is estimated by using fuzzy rules. In this paper, a one-channel excitations equipment is analyzed, and the fuzzy failure rate is obtained. So, fuzzy fault tree analysis combines the probability´s vagueness and engineering error, and it has broad application prospects in the reliability engineering.
