Abstract :
Telemedicine is a general term which is used to define various aspects of health care at a distance. Also, telemedicine can be defined as the use of telecommunication technologies to provide medical services. The key aspect of telemedicine is the use of electronic signals to transfer information from one place to another. Since the invention of the telephone, medical practitioners have employed electronic communication to facilitate patient care. Always in medicine, the trend is toward increasing volume of information and increasing demand for communication bandwidth. Based on the Institute of Medicine, about 30% of physicians could not have accessed their patientpsilas files in existing non-telemedicine systems and 70% of the records were incomplete. We define a telemedicine health care system, which can be used for emergency or patient monitoring cases. Ambulances, Rural Health Centers (RHC) or other remote health location, Airplanes in flight and Ships navigating in wide seas are frequent examples of possible emergency sites.
