Abstract :
This paper presents design, analysis, optimization and performance of a varactor tunable microstrip filter (VTMF) using proper circuit models. Based on the optimization algorithm, coupling elements stabilizing the bandwidth have been suggested. The experimental sample VTMF with series varactor circuits have been fabricated and tested, demonstrating a good agreement with the circuit model predictions
