Abstract
This paper presents a method to synthesize microwave active filters using negative resistances in MMIC technology. The negative resistance circuits employed are based on classical negative impedance converters (NICs). Our topologies are validated with computer simulations and with measurements. We then associate our circuits with several microwave bandstop and bandpass filters
