  • Abstract
With the expansion of electronic commerce, the requirements of electronic commerce protocols are higher. Generally the properties of electronic commerce protocols include security, accountability, atomicity, anonymity, nonrepudiation and fairness. If an electronic commerce protocol does not have these properties, the electronic commerce transactions under this protocol are prone to dispute and error and are not secure. Several online card payment protocols were introduced in the past several years, such as VCC, SET and VCPT. Those protocols do not have accountability and atomicity together. Hence people are not satisfied with these online payment protocols. So in this paper, we introduce a secure online card payment protocol. It has the properties of security, accountability, atomicity, partial anonymity, nonrepudiation, and fairness for not only digital goods but also nondigital goods. In the last we analyze accountability with Kessler & Neumann authentication logics and atomicity and fairness of the secure online card payment protocol.
