Abstract
This paper concerns with robust stability of networked control systems (NCSs) by considering the effects of both the time-varying network-induced delay and data packet dropout simultaneously. A less conservative delay-dependent stability condition is formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities based on a new delay bisection approach to time-varying delay. No slack matrix variable is introduced and overly bounding for some term is avoided. Furthermore, two numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
