  • Abstract
In this paper we consider an interference-free multi-beamforming protocol for multi-source multi-destination relay networks. The new protocol adopts the amplify and forward policy as its cooperative transmission strategy and adjusts the weights of relays to realize an improved multi-pair source-destination data transfer. We in particular investigate the issue how to choose the weights of relays to optimize the achieved data transfer performance, especially the diversity order of the data transfer for each source-destination pair, subject to total relaying power constraint. To investigate the highest achievable diversity order for each pair of source-destination data transfer, we further add another constraint to zero-force the interferences between them. We analyze the achieved diversity order of the data transfer for each source-destination pair and confirm the results by simulations. Analysis and Monte-Carlo simulations demonstrate the superior data transfer performance as compared with other transmissions.
