Abstract :
The slot irradiator fabricated on the lateral surface of the thin wall metallic tube is considered. The equivalent circuit of the slot irradiator is proposed and its characteristics and parameters for matching with media having loss are determined. Comparison with the experimental data for the tubes of various diameters in the frequency range 0.85-1.1 GHz is presented
