Abstract :
In order to quantitatively describe the harm of heavy metals in groundwater on public health in the shallow groundwater of the Jinghuiqu irrigation district, the health risk of heavy metals was assessed based on the model for health risk analysis and the monitoring data in 2009. The result shows that: The health risks of Cr (IV) to the individual person per year in terms of carcinogens is greater than the standard value recommended by International Commission on Radiological Protection(ICRP), and their average values for adults and children are 0.0008a-1 and 0.0019 a-1 through drinking water, belong to high-risk level and the highest risk level. The average values of Cr (IV) through skin contact are 1.62×10-5a-1 and 4.84×10-5a-1, belong to the low-medium risk level. The health risk of Mn to the individual person per year in terms of non-carcinogens belongs to the low-risk level.
