Abstract :
The extremely wide band of UWB and the weak receiving signal of Tactical Air navigation system (TACAN) airborne devices make it possible to affect characteristics of TACAN airborne receiver, while the low power of UWB makes it likely to be interfered. UWB EIRP masks made from different organizations and path loss models in various conditions are summarized, with which as a basis the interferences between UWB and TACAN are discussed in aspect of SINR both in theoretical analysis and simulation with different EIRP and PRF, from which some conclusions and suggestions to decrease the interference are obtained.
