Abstract :
An investigation of the possibility of data enhancement and accuracy improvement in the de visu and automatic analysis of the respiratory reflexes is reported. Data compression is performed in the frequency domain and is based on a successive Hilbert transform of short Fourier spectrum signals. Preliminary results indicate that both human and machine segmentation and pattern classification scores are improved by this method
