Abstract :
This paper investigates stability and stabilization of positive switched systems. Being different from the Lyapunov function approach commonly used in the literature, the method employed in the paper gives a way to solve the stability and stabilization of the systems when a Lyapunov function can not be constructed. Firstly, by using the linear programming approach, the stability of autonomous systems is considered. Secondly, a state feedback law is designed for non-autonomous systems, and the stabilization of the systems with average dwell time is guaranteed. Finally, two illustrative examples are given to verify the correctness of the present design.
