Abstract :
Delays in document transfers, archiving complexity, and increasing labor costs in almost every business sector require general-purpose, low-cost solutions for automatic document handling. If digitized versions of documents are available, integration of documents into the information flow can be dramatically enhanced. A description is presented of the customization of such requirements in a low-cost bank check processing station
