Abstract :
With the development of distribution networks and the increasing of capacitive current, the grounding fault arc is difficult to be extinguished which can easily generate fault over-voltage and lead to large scale power outage. The paper comprehensively compared different types of neutral grounding method in distribution networks. Based on the status of non-effectively grounded systems in our country, the most existing arc-suppression technologies are analyzed in this paper. Finally, the paper also makes prospect of the method of voltage arc suppression and SHBL technology in distribution networks.
