Abstract :
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) exhibits chaotic behavior when its parameters are within a certain range. In order to eliminate the chaos, many approaches have been proposed. However, most of them considered asymptotic stability of the system while finite-time stabilized system was proposed to have better performance in some practical occasions. In this paper, finite-time stabilization problem is considered to eliminate the chaos in PMSM, and two different control laws are proposed. To show the effectiveness of the proposed methods, some simulation results are provided.
