  • Abstract
A pole placement iterative controller design procedure is analyzed. It is based on indirect plant identification and the solution of two Diophantine equations. The first Diophantine equation is used to extract the plant model from the closed loop estimate. The second one is used to make a one-step-ahead pole placement allocation. The design can be interpreted as a closed loop error correction procedure which allows convergence of the iterative scheme to be easily proved
