Abstract :
Synthetic test equipment is the most important operational test equipment for high voltage thyristor valves. In this paper, the main circuit analysis and design, control and protection strategy analysis and system design have been introduced. The commission results have validated that research and development of the synthetic test equipment is success, which will provide the test base, R&D platform, engineering experiments and technology consultation for high power electronics technology applied in electric power system.
