Abstract :
To research the spatial distribution characteristics and variation of fluorine ion concentration in the groundwater of Huhhot, this paper analyzes the spatial variability of that though geostatistics. The research sample indicates that the fluorine content of shallow groundwater in Huhhot is already 23% higher than the national standard of drinking water and shows remarkable spatial variability. Also, it shows significant isotropic characteristics within a certain spatial range, which are mainly caused by large-scale regional factors rather than random factors. In Huhhot, majority of fluorine content in groundwater is lower than national standard of drinking water, only 2% of which has exceeded national standard defined as the high fluorine area.
