Abstract :
The exponential time-differencing (ETD) schemes for the Quasi-PML (QPML) for coordinates finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) is presented in this paper. By these results we can see that the ETD-QPML algorithm is more accurate and efficient than centered time-differencing schemes, and the ETD-QPML algorithm requires only 3 PML-layers in ETD scheme instead of at least 10 PML-layers in centered time-differencing case, it can also provide a comparative absorption level, generally about -80 Db reflection error, in two dimensional FDTD.
