Abstract :
IEC 61850 presents a set of models for substation automation system which is independent from any implementation. Besides models and services, a clear framework is the focus of the research when a manufacturer designs a product according to the IEC 61850. This paper presents a layered framework which consists of data, view and control. Server software is made up of the data, view, control and communication. Focused on the modularization and code reusing, view, data, control and communication were separately presented and a method of applying this framework to intelligent electronic device was discussed.
