Abstract
In this talk will not provide solutions to problems or cover every aspect of a problem, but will address how SYNERGIES of COLLABORATIVE TECHNOLOGIES may offer partial solutions to a few of these major problems in HEALTHCARE and BIOMEDICINE. In particular, an introduction to Healthcare-Biomedicine Challenges will be given and a small number of Synergies of Technologies will be discussed to make the focus point. These synergies are: Synergy-1: Secure Health Information Exchange (HIEx); Synergy-2: Smart Homes for People at need; Synergy-3: ER Ultrasound Monitoring; Synergy-4: Brain Activities & Surgery. Finally, the talk ends with discussion and conclusions for future directions.
