Abstract :
This paper investigates the finite-time synchronization of the chaotic brushless DC motor (BLCDM) systems under a new dimension-reducible controller with simple and continuous structure called the variable substitution and sinusoidal feedback control. Firstly, the master-slave finite-time synchronization scheme under this control is established. And then some sufficient criteria for the finite-time synchronization of two BLDCM systems are proved by means of the finite-time stability theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the obtained criteria is verified by some numerical examples.
