Abstract :
Optimization of interruption performance in high voltage circuit breaker is mainly the optimization of dielectric recovery, among which the nozzle optimization occupies an important position. Because the optimization of dielectric recovery involves numerical calculation of electric field and flow field, time consuming becomes the bottleneck of nozzle optimization. Therefore, a new calculation method is proposed, which chooses pressure in flow field in stead of dielectric recovery to represent interruption performance. The feasibility and validity of the research work have been verified by the demonstration example. Moreover, a new numerical computation method of dielectric recovery for electric apparatus has been provided.
