Abstract
We revisit the output regulation problem for linear systems. We generalize the problem formulation in order to expand the class of tracking reference or disturbance rejecting signals, to utilize the derivative or feedforward information of reference signals whenever it is available, and to pursue alternative avenues of design whenever the exact output regulation problem is not solvable
